There’s nothing better than an early morning outdoor swim!
This is a drypoint engraving and mono print, hand-finished with watercolour, inspired by sketches of the Parliament Hill Lido in North London.
Signed and numbered on the front.
Materials: Somerset Satin paper, 300gsm, Intaglio printing inks, perspex plate, etching press, watercolours
Orders are wrapped in acid-free tissue, flat-packed between board in a stiffened envelope and shipped signed and tracked within four days.

Drypoint is a form of etching where the image is created by scratching directly onto the plate. Since no acid is needed, the metal isn’t dissolved as on an etched plate, but is thrown up on each side of the line, creating a thicker, soft line. This wears down hence the small edition. I’ve also added a little watercolour to the figures. Each handcrafted print is unique and variable and numbered E.V (Edition Variable)
