Orders are wrapped in acid-free tissue, loosely rolled into a thick-walled, 10cm wide cylinder and dispatched signed and tracked within 4 days
I start with a detailed sketch which I then redraw onto grounded zinc with a needle. The plate is dipped in acid which ‘bites’ into the exposed lines, leaving deep grooves to hold ink. The plate is then inked up by hand using a range of colour etching inks before being pulled through the press. I have hand-finished with a little water colour for the swim hats.
