The London Lido series started as a commission to paint the Parliament Hill Lido in North London. My chosen technique is monotype where, referring to my drawings, I paint onto a steel plate with rollers, brushes and card, cover the plate in dampened Somerset paper and pull it through the press. Only one print is made so it is as unique as a painting on canvas.
